was there any thing to excite him to this course of conduct? I should think not
would you think that this was a conspiracy got up against Gen Smit. Yes it appeard so.
would you <or would you not> think from the general tenor of the meeting. The getting up & reading of the affidavits & several officers <of the > being associated with it that the meet & the charges & remarks made. that it was got up for traitorous designs having a tendency to injure Gen Joseph Smith.
Court— was the apparent mention of Goten & thus in this meeting for the purpose of raising excitement.
