To all to whom these Presents shall come, GREETING:
Know Ye That I of the County of Lake and the State of , Administrator of the Estate of Joseph Smith Jr late of Lake County, deceased, by virtue of an order and decree of the Probate Court in and for the County of Lake in the State of , made on the 24th. day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty two duly authorising me, (by virtue of the proceedings, &c., then and therefore had by and in said Court, &c.,) to sell the Real Estate hereinafter described and in pursuance of a sale duly made, and reported to, and confirmed by said Court, on the 18th. day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty two; and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid or secured to be paid by of in said County the Purchaser at said sale of the said Real Estate, hereinafter described, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said his heirs and assigns forever; by virtue and in pursuance of the orders, decrees, sale, confirmation and powers, above refered to, a crtain Tract of Land, situated in the Township of in the County of Lake, and State of , and is known and described in a deed of Samuel Canfield to said Joseph Smith Jr dated Oct. 1. 1836 as parts of Lots No 29. 41 and 42 as deeded to said Samuel Canfield and is bound as follows; to wit beginning in the center of the highway lately laid out in the North line of [p. 526]
