To all people to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know Ye that We and Hezekiah <Keziah> Rich wife of the said of the Town of County of Geauga and State of Ohio, For the consideration of fifty dollars received to our full satisfaction of Joseph Smith Jr. of the Town of County of Geauga and State of Ohio do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said Joseph Smith Jr. the following described tract or lot of land situate in Township No. nine in the ninth range of Townships in the [p. 232]
