This Indenture made and entered into This twenty first day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty one between and Cynthia [Clark Hubbard] his wife, of the county of , and State of , of the one part, and Joseph Smith, as sole trustee in trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth that the said and Cynthia, his wife, for and in consideration of one hundred and fifty dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledgd, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith, his assigns and successors in office forever, all that tract or parcel of Land, situate and being in the county of , in the state of , Viz:
It being a part of the east half of the North West quarter Section thirty three, Township forty nine, Range thirty three, and is bounded as follows, beginning forty two rods north of the centre of said section thirty three, thence running north fifty rods, thence West eighty rods, thence south fifty rods, thence East eighty rods to the place of beginning, containing twenty five acres of land be the same more or less; Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining;
To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Joseph Smith, as sole trustee in Trust, his assigns, and successors in office forever. And the said and Cynthia his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Joseph Smith, his assigns, and successors, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and ever defend by these presents,
