This Indenture made and entered into this twenty third day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty one between and his wife of the County of and State of of the one part and Joseph Smith of the County of and aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said and his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of Ten thousand dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge have have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith his heirs and assigns forever, all those tracts or parcels of land, Situate and being in the County of and State of and described on the plat of the Town of as being Blocks one hundred and twenty eight (128), one hundred and twenty nine, (129), one hundred and thirty (130), Lots one, two and four in Block one hundred and thirty One (131) Blocks one hundred and thirty five (135) one hundred and thirty Six (136) one hundred and thirty Seven (137) one hundred and fifty (150) one hundred and fifty two (152) and One hundred and fifty three (153) Lots Three in Block one hundred and thirty four (134) Lots Two and Three in Block one hundred and fifty One (151) also all their right title interest and claim in and to the following discribed Lots, Viz, Three and four in Block one hundred and eleven, Lots three and four in Block one hundred, and twelve (112), Lots three and four in Block one hundred and thirteen (113) Lots Three and four in Block one hundred and fourteen (114), Lots Three and four in Block one hundred and fifteen: Together with all and singular the appurtenances and privileges, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and to hold the above described premises unto the Said Joseph Smith his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and his wife. the aforesaid premises unto the said Joseph Smith his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever except the Dower of Elizabeth Galland do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
