This Indenture, made and entered into this Twentieth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty Between and Achsah his wife, of and State of of the first part, and Joseph Smith Jr. of the County of and State of of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the Said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Thousand dollars, to them in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given. granted, bargained, and sold, and by these presents, do give, grant, bargain [p. 510]
