sell, convey, and confirm, unto the Said party of the Second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever. certain piece or parcel of land, situate lying, and being in the County of and State of and described as follows, to wit: The south half of the north east quarter of Section Number two in Township Six north and in Range nine west of the fourth principal Meridian (reserving from this said tract of land half of one acre for a burying ground) also two acres of land running from the east described tract to the and bounded on the North by Charles Munsons and South by Joseph Smith Jr and s land— To Have and To Hold, the aforesaid premises, together with all and singular the improvements, rights, privileges, and, appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, free from the claim or claims of themselves, their heirs, or assigns, and from the claimor claims of any and every other person or persons claiming the same by, though, or under them or either of them, And the said parties of the first part, for themselves, their heirs executors and admnistrators, covenant with the said part— of the second part his heirs and assigns, that they are lawfully seisyed of the above described premises, that they have good right, full power and lawful authority, to sell and convey the same, and that the above described premises are clean and free of all encumbrances; And that they will warrant and forever Defend the title thereto, and hereby conveyed, against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming the same whomsoever, In Testimony Whereof, the said parties of the first part, have hereunto, subscribed their names and affixed their Seals, the day and year first above written.

This day personally appeared before me the undersigned and an acting justice of the Peace within and for the aforesaid and Achisah his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed and are presonally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same did acknowledge the said conveyance to be their own free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and expressed— And the said Achsah White being by me made acquainted with the contents of said conveyance and seperate and apart from her examined acknowledged that she relinguished her dower to the premises therein conveyed freely voluntarily and without compulsion from her — Given under my hand and seal this 21st day of July A. D 1840
