Know all men by these presents that I and Rosannah [Robinson] Marks of the County of in the State of Ohio for and in consideration of the sum of thirteen thousand dollars to me paid in hand in obligations against Joseph Smith Jr & Co. by of the County of Cuyahoga in the State aforesaid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained Sold remised and and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release and quit claim unto the said and to his heirs and assigns forever all my right and title to that piece or parcel of land situated in in said County and State aforesaid deeded to and Joseph Smith Jr. all of County and State aforesaid by & Sarah French his wife which deedbeen dated the fifth day of October A.D. One thousand Eight hundred and thirty six. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions, remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest— thereof— claim or demand whatsoever [p. 570]
