To the Honorable, the city council of the city of . The recorder of said respectfully sheweth; That in attempting to execute the ordinance of your honorable body, “to remunerate for land occupied by a street” passed August 12[th] 1843, he is not able to tetermine, from any thing found on record, the width of said street, through said s land he therefore prays your honorable body. to give necessary information on in <the> p[r]emises, that deeds may be executed,—
