Know all men by these presents that Ethan Kimball of the County of and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars in hand paid by Philander Dibble of the County of Madison and State of , bargained and sold unto the said Philander Dibble a certain lot or peice of land lying and situated in s second addition to in said and last mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being lot No three in Block No fifteen in said addition to the Town of . To have and to hold the above described lot or peice of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Philander Dibble his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Ethan Kimball for himself his heirs and assigns administrators and executors, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by, through, or under him in any manner whatsoever, or any other persons whatever. In testimony whereof he has hereunto set his name and affixed his seal this 15th. day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four
