receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell convey and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the County of in the State of , viz: Beginning in the centre of Munson Street in the City of , thence running South on the East line of lot No 46 Block No 5. nine rods, thence West to the centre of Barlow Street 4 rods and 12 feet, then north on the centre of Barlow Street to the centre of Munson Street, then East on the centre of Munson Street to the place of beginning, containing 42 rods and twelve feet, more or less, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, to have and to hold the above des-cribed premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Cynthia his wife their heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In testimony whereof the said and Cynthia his wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

I an acting Justice of the peace within and for said do certify that and Cynthia his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed are personally known to me to be the persons des-cribed in and who executed the same, and that they acknowledged the same to be their own free act and deed for the uses therein mentioned and expressed. And the said Cynthia Beach being by me made acquainted with the contents of said deed and examined separate and apart from her acknowledged that she relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed freely, voluntarily, and without compulsion of her .
