This Indenture made and entered <the first> day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five between Lucius Kingman and Lucia [Kingman] his wife of parties of the first part and of party of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars lawful money of the to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remised, released and quit claimed and by these presents do remise release and quit claim unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the State of in the tract appropiated by Acts of Congress for Military Bounties known and described as follows— viz North East quarter of Section thirty one in Township Sum North in Range Eight West Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and all the estate, right title interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever as will in Law as in Equity of the said parties of the first part of in and to the above described premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances.— To have and to hold all and singular the above mentioned and described premises together with the appurtenances unto the said party of the seemd part and to his heirs and assigns forever

On this seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five Lucius Kingman and Lucia his wife personally known to the undersigned Clerk of the county Commissioners court of said county to be the identical persons who executed and whose names and Subscribed to the foregoing Deed of conveyance as having executed the same came before me and acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein expressed And the said Lucia having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said deed of conveyance and examined Seperate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she Executed the same and relinquished her dower in the premises therein mentioned voluntarily, freely, and without the compulsion of her said husband and that she does not wish to retract the same In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal at the day and year first above written
