<pt Lot 19B— 3K ad> to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain bargain sell, convey and confirm unto the said Wm Brown jr his heirs and assigns forever all that part or parcel of Land situate and being in the county of in the State of viz: a part of Lot number nineteen in Block number three of ’s addition to and being the North half of the South West corner Lot in the Block which is bounded West by Back Street, South by Hotchkiss Street, East by Barnett Street and North by White Street Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said William Brown jr his heirs and assigns forever And the said and Magdalena Moeser his wife their heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said Wm Brown jr his heirs and assigns against the claims or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents

I, a Justice of the peace in and for the said , do certify that and Magdalena his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said Magdalena Moeser having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and examined Seperate and apart from her said acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her said In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-five

This Indenture made and entered into this sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between Philip Smith and Sarah his wife of the county of and state of of the one part, and Ann Smith of the county of and aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Philip Smith and Sarah his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Ann Smith her heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the state of viz:— a part of Lot No. seventy two (72) in Block No two (2) of s addition to commencing ninety two feet four inches West from the South East corner of said Lot thence North Seven (7) Rods to Mulholland Street. thence West. along said Street thirty three (33) feet thence South Seven (7) Rods thence East thirty three (33) feet to the place of beginning. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
