At the 12 August 1843 Nauvoo City Council meeting, the council ordered that various city officers, including Warrington, be paid for their services. This order to Warrington is not dated, so it is not known when it was issued; orders for the other officers were issued 29 September 1843 and 4 December 1843. The transaction was recorded in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger on 30 October 1843.
