There is one extant pay order for $5.00 for Andrus dated 4 October 1844; this order likely corresponds to one of those two entries. Andrus’s account in the ledger notes eleven orders on collector dated 4 October 1844 totaling $23.00. This and the other extant pay order for Andrus dated 4 October 1844 likely correspond to two of those eleven orders.
