There is one entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for an order to Warren Smith dated 3 August 1844 for $1.00. There are two extant pay orders for $1.00 dated 3 August 1844. One of the two extant orders likely corresponds to the ledger entry. Smith’s account in the ledger notes ten orders on collector dated 3 August 1844 totaling $29.00. This and the other extant pay order for Smith dated 3 August 1844 likely correspond to two of those ten orders.
