To the Mayor and Council of the City of assembled the petition of the undersigned Citizen respectfully represents That Green Street from its intersection with Young be opened one half block North to petitioners line for the purpose of his said petitioners passage to and from his house said way or any other being totally stopped up. Said petitioner prays on two considerations the opening of some passage from a Public highway to his line First— that said Green Street has never been shut up since first laid of[f] and is only now Closed from malicious purposes. Secondly— that the State Road originally run along said petitioners line and was only moved by an act of the City Authorities
