Be it remembered, that on the ninth day of October A D 1843 of the county of come before me a Justice of the peace in and for said and acknowledged themselves to owe jointly and severally unto the people of the State of in the sum of two hundred dollars to be levied upon <their> our goods and Chattels lands and tenements if default be made in the following to wit, The condition of the above recognizance is such that if the above bounden and shall each and every of them be and personally appear at the next Circuit Court of the County of on the first day thereof to give evidence on behalf of the people of the State of against on a Charge of perjury committed in swearing to a certain affidavit before one a Justice of the peace in and for said — on the 8th day of August 1842, as well to the grand as the pettit Jury and not depart the Court without have then this recognizance to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue
