When compiling JS’s history in 1843, Willard Richards and William W. Phelps turned Revelation Book 2 upside down and used three blank leaves at the back for notations about their history-writing effort. The title on the back cover reflects this usage: “Facts left out | Re[g] istered | herei[n]”. The final blank page bears offsetting from the opposite inscribed side (first page of historical material) and has an adhesive wafer on the inside edge.
