Appointed to be ordained a priest, 7 June 1831, in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio; ordained an elder, 18 Nov. 1831. Disfellowshipped, ca. 1834. Restored to fellowship, by 1836. Received blessing in Kirtland temple, 26 Mar. 1836. Leader of Democratic party in Brownhelm. Died in Brownhelm.
