Greene, 1832.7 Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, by 1834.8 Moved to Missouri, Sept. 1837, and settled in Daviess Co., spring 1838.9 Moved to Far West, Caldwell Co., Missouri, Oct. 1838.10 Participated in Battle of Crooked River, near Ray Co., Missouri, 25 Oct. 1838.11 Moved to Scott Co., Illinois, 1839; to Macedonia, Hancock Co., Illinois, 1841; and to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., 1842.12 Participated in plural marriage during JS’s lifetime.13 Served mission to Ohio, 1844.14 Member of Brigham Young pioneer company that journeyed to Salt Lake Valley, 1847.15 Bishop of Salt Lake City Eighteenth Ward, 1851–1878.16 Ordained a patriarch, 1877.17 Died at Salt Lake City.18
