A period of God’s work on earth, such as the “dispensation of the gospel of Abraham.”1 The biblical phrase “dispensation of the fulness of times” appears often in the writing of early Latter-day Saints; they typically used it to describe the final dispensation, the “last times” “wated [awaited] with anxious expectation” when God would bring together the work of all dispensations and complete his earthly work.2 Revelations stated that JS had been given “the Keys of this dispensation.”3
