Know all men by these presents that we and both of the township of , County of Geauga and State of Ohio, are held and firmly bound to James Hall of , Assignee of Keeler Mc Niel & co. Merchants of the City of in the sum of three thousand and thirty Eight dollars lawful money of the , for the due payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs and executors to pay the sum being now due this twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & thirty eight.
Now the condition of this Bond is such that if the said does make and execute a warrenty deed to the said James Hall Assignee of two Certain Lots of ground with all the appertinances, thereon, situate in the Township of aforesaid, one of said Lots is situate immediately west of the Chapel House in on which said now resides, containing one half acre. the other Lot situate in said Kirtland is bounded on the west by the Chilicothe road, on the north by Land owned by , on the south and east by Land owned by Containing nearly one half acre, And the said Conditions for himself to make and execute a warranty deed of a certain Lot situate in said , bounded as follows East by the Chilicothe road, on the north by Land owned by , on the west by the commons, on the south by the publick highway containing three quarters of an acre, with all the buildings and appertenances thereon situated. Said conditions both to be fulfilled on or before the tenth day of February next. at which time the said James Hall, or his agent agrees to surrender to them two Notes of hand signed by dated , oct. 10th 1836 payable to the order of Keeler Mc.Kniel & co. Said two Notes amounting to fifteen hundred dollars and Nineteen dollars and two cents each. Therefore on the performence of all these Conditions this Bond become void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
