Before me Joseph Smith one of the Justices of the Peace, and Mayor of said , personally came , who being duly Sworn according to Law, deposeth and Saith, that he has been credibly informed, and has good reason to believe, and doth verily believe, that on the nineteenth day of December 1842, in said , Slanderous and abusive language was used, of, towards, and concerning the Wife, Son and daughter of , thereby accusing them, to wit, Susan Mc.Arthur, Henry McArthur, and Sally McArthur, of having been guilty of Wilful and Corrupt perjury, and that they the said Susan Henry and Sally had Sworn lies, which could be proven, and this Saith that he verily believes that <one> , one Henry Tener [Tanner], and one Albert Tener [Tanner] are guilty of the facts charged, and further this Saith not.—
Sworn to, and subscribed before me, in said aforesaid, this 19th day of December 1842.—
