This, Indenture, made and entered into this Twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one, between and his wife, of the County and State of Illinois, of the one part, and of the Town of , and County and State aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the Said and his wife for, and in consideration of the Sum of Five hundred dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, Sell convey, and confirm unto the Said his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, Situate and being in the County of and state of Illinois, and described that part of Block one hundred and fifty six in the Town of , as is here described, to wit: Beginning at the North East Corner of Sd. Block (156) thence W. 396. feet to a corner; thence South 114 Feet 8 in. to a corner; thence E. 148 Feet to a corner; thence South 123 Feet to a corner: thence E. 248 Feet to a corner; thence N. 237. F. 8 in to the place of beginning: being Subject to the half of an ally Sixteen 1/2 feet wide through the center Block, for private purposes: (that is to say, the exclusive use for the benefit of the above described lot, and the remainder of the Block from which this was severed by these metes and bounds, which remainder is or will be deeded to the ) Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining:
To Have and to Hold the above described premises unto the Said , his heirs and assigns forever: and the Said and his wife, their heirs and assigns the afforesaid premises unto the said his heirs and assigns, against the Claim or Claims, of all and every person whomsoever, do and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents, In Testimony whereof, the Said and his wife of the first part, have here unto Set their hands and Seals the day and year above written
