To all people to whom these presents shall come Greeting: Know Ye that We and Rosannah [Robinson Marks] his Wife of the Town of County of Geauga and State of Ohio for the consideration of two hundred dollars received to our full satisfaction of of the City of Ohio, do give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said the following described Tract or Lot of Lands situate in the Township of being number nine in the ninth Range of Townships of the in the State of and which is also in the County of and is known by being part of Lot No. twenty three and is bounded as follows: Beginning on the northwest corner of a Lot of land owned by and running South the entire length of said Rigdon, Smith, and Cowdery & Cos. West line: thence west twenty four rods, thence north on a line parallel with the first mentioned line and of equal length with the same; thence East, twenty four rods to the place of beginning containing thirteen acres and one fourth of an acre of land, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said his heirs and assigns forever to his & their own proper use and behoof And I the said do for myself my heirs, executors and administrators Covenant with the said his heirs and assigns that [p. 461]
