at and until the ensealing of these presents I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written and that the same be free of all incumbrances whatsoever and furthermore I the said do by these presents bind myself my heirs forever to warrant and defend the above granted and bargained premises to him the said his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever. And I the said Rosannah Marks Wife as aforesaid do hereby remise release and forever unto the said his heirs and assigns all my right and title of dower in and to the above described premises. In witness whereof I <we> have hereunto set our hands and seals this Seventeenth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty Eight.

Personally appeared & Rosannah Marks, <18> who acknowledged that they did sign and seal the foregoing instrument and that the same is their free act and deed I further certify that I did examine the said Rosannah Marks separate and apart from her said and did then and there make known to her the contents of the foregoing instrument and upon that examination she declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she was still satisfied therewith— This 17th day of March AD 1838
