The Grand Jurors for the State of for the Body of the County of aforesaid upon their Oath present that, Joseph Smith Jr late of said on the first day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Thirty Eight with force and Arms at the aforesaid, of and from one one Saddle of the value of Twenty dollars, of the Goods and Chattels of George Worthington, feloniously did Receive and have, he the said Joseph Smith Jr, then and there well knowing the said Saddle to have been taken, Stolen, and carried away, against the form of the Statute in such case made and Provided, and against the Peace and Dignity of the —
