Know all men by these presents that and Elizabeth Helm his wife of the county of and State of has this day for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars paid in hand by Tanner C Green of the and above mention granted bargaind and sold unto the said Tanner C Green a certain lot or piece of land lying and situated in ’s addition to the city of in said and aforesaid as will more fully appear by refferenc to the plat of said addition beingng a part of said <the> <north half of Lot No twenty five, in B[l]ock no six in said—> addition to the City of bounded as follows fronting sixty seven feet on warsaw street thence running west ninty feet front on Kimbals street, thence North sixty seven feet, thence East ninty feet to the starting point. To have and and to hold the above described lot or piece of land with <all> and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Tanner C Green <and Elizabeth Helm> his there heirs and assigns for ever, and the said and Elisabeth Helm for there selvs there heirs and assigns administrators & execters do warent and forever defend the title of the lot or the peice of land againts evry peson or persons claiming by through or under them, on any manner, or any other person.
In testamony whereof they have hereunto set there mames and affixed there seals this 15th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundrede and forty three

I acting Justice of the peace in and for the said county do certify that and Elizabeth his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. and the said Elisbeth [Elizabeth] Helm having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined seperate and from her said acknowledge that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily freely, and without compulsion of her said .
Given under my hand and seal this fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eighteen hundred forty three.
