There is an entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $2.00 for two orders to Simeon A. Dunn dated 5 October 1844. There are four extant $1.00 pay orders for Dunn dated 5 October 1844. Two of these orders could correspond to that ledger entry. Dunn’s account in the ledger notes eighteen orders on collector dated 5 October 1844 totaling $41.00. This and the six other extant pay orders for Dunn dated 5 October 1844 likely correspond to seven of those eighteen orders.
