The is unable for want of knowledge to set forth with certainty the names and places of residence of the heirs of the said Joseph Smith Jr, but says that said decedent died leaving one certain[ly] who is his heir & entitled to the next estate of inherita[nce] in the premises above described from the said decedent, <whose name is & whose place of residence is aforesai[d]> & <who> is all the heir known to the , [&] if there are others their names & places of residence are wholly unknown to the .
Your prays that the said and her said husband, and the said so[n] & heir of said decedent, & his other heirs if there shall be found to be others, may be made parties defenda[n]ts to thi[s] petition; that the dower of the said may [be] set off to her in each of said parcels of land respectively that your may be ordered to sell said real Estate, or so much thereof as he shall find necessary to the payment of the debts of the deceased and expences of Admin[is]tration, & for such other & furth[er] relief as the court shall find him entitled to
