To the Hon City Council of the city of gentleman we your undersignd petitioners having understood thare was a hog law pased by the city Council and as thare are always unprinciple men who always wish to avail themselves of the benefits of such laws to injury of the Citizens of the we your Humble petitioners pray your Hon Body to Repeal the said law so fare as the third ward is Concernd and pass Some law to make the owners of all unruly Hogs accountible for all damages comited by them, The largest proportion of the 3d. ward is devoted to farming purposes and thinly Settled in comparison to the Rest of the knowing gentleman that you will act for the Best interests of the citizens we will submit this petition to your Hon decision
