Whereas complaint has been made to me, the undersigned, by Joseph Smith, under Oath, that he has been informed and verily believes that on or about the 25th. instant one of said did use and make ridiculous and abusive language concerning Deponents Character, thereby depreciating Deponents moral and religious Character, and that the said did make use of said language contrary to an ordinance of said , entitled, “An Ordinance in Relation to Religious Societies,” You will Arrest the said , if he be found in your , and have his Body before the Municipal Court, at Ten OClock A.
