Biography
11 Apr. 1797–27 Mar. 1884. Supervisor of roads, fireman, farmer. Born in Concord, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania. Son of Thomas Peirce (Pierce) and Margaret Trimble. Married Hannah Harvey, 23 Jan. 1821, in Pennsylvania. Moved to Uwchlan Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, by 1830. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ca. 1840. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, 1841. Ordained a high priest by Hyrum Smith, 15 Nov. 1841, at Nauvoo. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, 1847. Moved to Cottonwood, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, by 1853. Moved to East Millcreek, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, by 1880. Died at East Millcreek.
