That afterwards and about March eighteen and forty said Smith caused & procured said to assign & transfer said obligation from said to said to one That the said was then a person of no property and in fraudulent collusion with the said Smith was used as a man of Straw the more completely to effect the purposes Aforesaid
That said has <since> departed this life about the year AD 1845 that said in the life time of said about July AD 1840 by the procurement of said Smith and in compliance with said obligation from said to said assigned to said as aforesaid made a deed of said premises the same to said and his heirs in fee
That afterwards and about the year AD 1841 the said conveyed the said Quarter section to wife of said Joseph Smith deceased by the procurement of said Joseph and with the intent to the carry out the fraudulent design aforesaid of defrauding your orator & the other creditors of said Joseph Smith dec.
