Know all men, by these Presents, That we, , Lewis Robinson [Robison] & —— are held and firmly bound unto The City of —— in the sum of One Hundred & thirteen dollars; for which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals, and dated this ninth—— day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-two
The Condition of this obligation is such That if the above bounden shall pay and satisfy whatever judgment may be rendered by the Circuit Court of , upon the dismissal or trial of a certain appeal to the said Circuit Court, this day taken by him from a judgment rendered by Joseph Smith Esq., a—— Justice of the Peace within and for said , on the Sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-two wherein the City of is—— Plaintiff and Defendants, for the sum of Fifty dollars fine——Debt, and Six 25/100—— dollars costs of suit, in favor of the said City of and against the said then this obligation shall be void; otherwise, it shall remain in full force and virtue.
