Of May Term in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and forty six—

and and as Guardian of , Nelson Lawrence , Julia Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence Minor Heirs of deceased plaintiff in this Suit by George Edmunds Jr their Attorney Complains of as Administrator of the Estate of Joseph Smith deceased defendant in this suit who was summoned to answer the said Plaintiffs in A plea that he as such Administrator render unto the said plaintiff the sum of Seven thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars and six cents which he as such Administrator owes to and unjustly detains from the said plaintiffs: For that whereas the said Joseph Smith late of said County of now deceased in his lifetime heretofore to wit: on the fourth day of June in the year A.D. One thousand Eight hundred and forty one at in the County of was appointed Guardian of the said Nelson Lawrence Julia Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence by the Court of Probate of the County of in the State of . And took upon himself the Guardianship aforesaid and together with one and on the Said fourth day of June A.D. Eighteen hundred of and forty one made their certain writing obligatory of that date Sealed with their Seals (and now to the Court here shown) and there & then delivered the same to the probate Justice of the peace in & for the said County of thereby acknowledging themselves bound to the people of the State of for the use of the said Nelson, , Julia and Margaret [p.
