that said sale would be made upon the 8h day of April AD 1851 in front of the public house Known as the in the City of in said , and whereas I did on the said 8h day of April AD 1851 offer for sale in said City of at the place aforesaid at public to the highest bidder for cash the premises aforesaid in separate parcels as heretofore described according to the directions of said decree and as set forth in said advertisement and whereas at said sale John Rice became the purchaser of the following described lots bidding therefor the sum of 1$ for each of the first six lots and 12$ for the seventh & Eighth described lots and and 38$ for the 9h described lot which was the highest bid made for the same, Now therefor Know all Men by these presents that I special commissioner as aforesaid acting under said decree in consideration of the premises and of the sum of sixty Eight dollars to me paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said John Rice of Stevenson County Illinois his heirs and assigns the following described premises situate in the County of and State of aforesaid to wit the south quarter of lots three & four in block Eighty Eight and the south quarter of Lots three and four in block Eighty nine and the south Quarter of lots Three & four in block Ninety and Lots Two (2) and three (3) in block one Hundred <(100)> and Lot one (1) in block one Hundred & one (101) all in the City of County of Hancock aforesaid, To Have and To Hold together with all the appurtenances thereto belonging to him the said John Rice his heirs and assigns forever. Provided however that this deed contains no implied warrants on the part of said , In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this Ninth day of April AD Eighteen Hundred and fifty one
