” to allow themselves the favor of . . . organizing themselves into a Company to be called the Nauvoo Brass Band and to elect their own officers subject to the order of the <Lieutenant General> of the Nauvoo Legion, the Petition was granted.—— Agreed to
Moved and seconded that the Legion Parade be on the fourth Saturday in September annually instead of the 3rd. Saturday as at present. Agreed to
Moved and seconded that the 35th. Section of the revised law be, and is hereby repealed. and also the 39th. Section of the same, so far as relates to the pay of the Chief Musician. Agreed to
Moved and seconded that the 21st. Section of the same law as relates to the General training, be, and is hereby repealed. Agreed to
Moved and seconded that Colonel be added to the list of Committee on the Revised laws. Agreed to
Moved and seconded that be, and is hereby authorized to pay the expences of the Committee to for arms out of the first money that comes into his hands belonging to the Nauvoo Legion. Agreed to
Moved and seconded that this meeting be adjourned to the second Saturday in January 1844 then to meet at this place at ten in the morning
