The Report of the Committee, on the claim of was accepted, & adopted, allowing him a Sum of Twelve Dollars, for Summoning Council, & attending their Meetings.—
The Report of the Committee, upon the Bill furnished by the City Watch, was received and accepted, Which <Report> merely referred back the Bill to the Council for their action thereon.
Resolved by the City Col. &c., that the Act of the Mayor and , in drawing upon the City Treasury of this for a Sum of $538,50, being the claim of the City Watch up to the 27th. day of August last, inclusive, be, and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved &c, that the be, & he hereby is Ordered, to not make any further payment out of the City Funds, upon the Order heretofore drawn upon him, for payment of the City Watch, unless further Order of this Council.
Resolved by the City Council of the City of , that Adjourned until the next regular Meeting. The be, & <he hereby is> instructed to proceed & recover payment of the Arrears due by delinquents for Road labour Tax, for the Year 1841.
