petition & order are in the words & figures following to wit
“To the Honorable Judge of the fifth Judicial Circuit
The undersigned petitioners would respectfully represent that they now stand Indicted that is to say Morice Phelps & for murder in the County of which said Indictments are now pending for trial in said your petitioners would further represent that the minds of the inhabitants of the sixth fifth and Eleventh Circuits and of every County in each of those Circuits are so much prejudiced against them and each of them that they cannot have a fair and impartial trial in any County in either the said three Circuits, your petitioners would therefore pray your honor, to award and order change of venue in each of their cases to Some County in some other Circuit of this where the Causes aforesaid do not exist and your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray &C
