Moved to Christianburg, Montgomery Co., by 7 Aug. 1820; to Newbern, Montgomery Co., by June 1830; and to Hancock Co., Illinois, Jan. 1836. Ran unsuccessfully for Hancock Co. sheriff, 1838. Elected Hancock Co. coroner, 1840. Appointed Hancock Co. deputy constable, 1843. Arrested JS for transport to Missouri, June 1843. Married Helen M. Williams, 9 July 1846, in Hancock Co. Died in Warsaw, Hancock Co.
