7th. Rode out on the Prarie at 9 A M. with some gentlemen to sell them some land. A tremendous thunder shower in the afternoon with strong wind and rain; storm <​which​> abated about sunset and I staid at my all night.

Esquire issued a writ of ejectment against all persons who had bought land of Dr. <​on the block​> east of the , he <​​> having given them warranty deeds, but not having paid for the land himself.
