he told me there was a company of men come up to the Jail there was a Guard there the guard fired on them that that they and the guard clenched that two or three had what hold of [Franklin] Worrell that he D [William Daniels] came up and took hold of Worrells sword struck him on the hand took his sword from him and threw it over the fence in the garden and told us if we saw Worrell before he did to tell him where his sword was— he told me nothing about settin this marvelous light— he did tell me about setting Smith up against the well curb or sid[e] of the house but said nothing about 4 men shooting him he said nothing about 4 men being paralised and carried off— [1/4 page blank]
