finished the leading men of the Mormon Church said he had come from in less than an hour— About 12 oclock Mr Key came and said he wanted supper for about 20 Men— in a few [minutes] he renewed the order for supper for 20 more— about supp 60 men eat supper there that night I saw two wounded one wounded in the face the other in the arm then one wounded in the arm came and set by the kitchen stove and [William] Grover came with him— I saw no drinking that night I do not recollect seeing I did not see at supper— I did not see — I saw & Grover at supper— I knew a good many of the People who were there— while supper was getting some said he had and others said no they had done it— said they had finished the men— Grover I killed old Jo— they all said they had killed the Smiths made no secret of it— they had no arms that I saw— part of them stood round part stood guard and part went upstairs to bed— most of them were [illegible] [brea]kfast there was n[o] [p.
