This day to wit the third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one came the complainants by their and filed their s herein.
And now come the complainants and for to the answer of the defendants above named, says, that that part of said answer which relates to property situate on the South West qr. of◊ the South half of the North East qr. of section No. 2 township no. six North of Range no. 9 West are admitted to be true, and that upon the said answer they, complainants are entitled <to> a decree against said premises for four fifths thereof.
And as to the rest and residue of said answer the complainants deny its truth and say that the allegations in their bill of complaint are true and they are entitled to the relief prayed.

And the complainants come and for replication to the answer of James Ward, the answer of Daniel Brown et al, the answer of Isaac S. Sanders et al, the answer of Ga[c]que Martin, the answer of George Ritter et al, the answer of Peter Reimbold et al, the answer of Hiram Griffice [Griffin] et al the answer of Simon Grill et al, the answer of , D[avid] W. Vrooman, Nathan Prentice, and Luke P. Prentice, say that the matters and things in said answer contained, untrue, uncertain and insufficient, and that the matters and things contained and stated in the said complainants said bill are true &c.
